Paul D. Van Hoy II resides in Rochester, NY where he received his MFA in Fine Art Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology. In 2007 Paul received worldwide recognition as Microsoft's Pro Photographer for 2007. Also, in 2007 Creative Quarterly Magazine recognized Paul as their 'Photographer of the Year'. American Photo Magazine recently profiled Paul's MFA thesis series 'Bystander'. Paul's work has been widely published in many other photographic magazines, including: After Capture, PDN, Digital Photo Pro, CMYK, Photographer's Forum, Professional Photographer, American Photo, Camera Arts, and Creative Quarterly.

Kerry and Kevin, it was so good to see you both again at Salome and Kevin’s wedding this past weekend. Kerry, when you made mention about blog-stalking me to see if I had posted your wedding photos I could hardly keep a straight face when I said it was going to take a few more weeks to finish. Well here they are guys – SURPRISE! Your backyard wedding ceremony with its countryside view made me feel like I was back in my home state of Indiana, but your friends and families saved me from homesickness. So, a big thanks to you, your friends, and your families for their hospitality and warmth – and of course… for not trampling me during the circle dances.

ps. for the record Kerry…Kevin was not crying…it was sweat.

It was such a fun day and the pictures show that!!! I don't think anyone has captured Kevin or my father smiling with teeth in pictures before! We couldn't have asked for more! and yes you get another "woohoo you rock!" Thanks again & looking forward to the book... i'll get my act together and send you the numbers! Kerry & Kevin
