Paul D. Van Hoy II resides in Rochester, NY where he received his MFA in Fine Art Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology. In 2007 Paul received worldwide recognition as Microsoft's Pro Photographer for 2007. Also, in 2007 Creative Quarterly Magazine recognized Paul as their 'Photographer of the Year'. American Photo Magazine recently profiled Paul's MFA thesis series 'Bystander'. Paul's work has been widely published in many other photographic magazines, including: After Capture, PDN, Digital Photo Pro, CMYK, Photographer's Forum, Professional Photographer, American Photo, Camera Arts, and Creative Quarterly.

PAUL!!!!!

They are amazing! I just got through a first look at all of them. I couldn’t stop laughing…every picture was so full of emotion and so alive. I can’t wait to go through them again and again. (Sadly, I need to get to work).

Because you don’t know all of the people in the pictures, I can’t even explain to you how many times I thought, “Wow, that is so (insert name here). That is classic.” You just captured the true essence of our friends and family. Some of the photos were so telling. I was shocked at how much each individual’s personality came through. Ah, I cannot wait to take the time to really study each photo.

Thank you again. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful account of our wedding day. Now, I am looking forward to getting to work on the albums!
